Like traditional spear head, they are heat treated and then drawn to a tough spring temper. This process enables the spear head to flex or bend under impact stresses rather than break.
The Boar spear is a modern re-creation of a design that dates back to the European Renaissance. It is cold forged out of medium carbon SK-5 Steel and is heat-treated to a spring temper. The Boar Spear comes with an extra stout premium ash shaft.
